Tena Koutou everyone and welcome to our second to last week of school. Our first full week at school was spent with activities celebrating Maori Language week and learning through play. It is so good to see the kids giving it a try and taking part in the different activities and being creative.  As we are still at Level 2 we are still encouraging that our kids sanitize before they come into class. Please ensure they bring in a drink bottle as water fountains are still out of bounds. Thank you very much for your support in this. Last Friday, some kids came with some fabulous wigs to wear for the day. The school managed to fundraise $580 to go towards the Cancer Society. What a fabulous effort.   Good morning to everyone on another lovely sunny day. Happy Fathers Day to all our dads, we hope you have a special day in your bubble. It's hard to believe that almost three weeks ago we went into lockdown.  A big thank you to all of our families for the support you are giving your children with their Home Learning Programmes during this time.  It has been a big learning curve for many of us and certainly a time of building resilience.  I feel so blessed to work in such a supportive and caring community. The Prime Minister announces late Monday afternoon what the next plan is.  Fingers crossed we move to Level 2 soon. This week we will continue with the Home Learning online. We have our daily meetings on Google Meet at 10am. The children and us teachers have been enjoying connecting and doing some fun activities. For Room 17's meeting tomorrow, come dressed in black or rugby gear (hope the All Blacks win their game tonight!). On Tuesday we will do our "Who is this c

Remember to email me a baby photograph by Saturday for our activity next week. God bless Mrs Tiedt
