Thank you

 Yesterday we attended the Parish Mass at 9am.  The children were very respectful in church and were able to answer many of Father Prakash's questions which made us feel very proud.  A big thank-you to those who joined us and for providing a plate of eats for the shared morning tea afterwards.  It was a lovely time of building our St. Mary's community.  A big thanks too to the mums who helped set up and clean up, without your help we would not be able to do this.

Week 10, Term 2 - Weekly notices

   Te Ahiahi Pai (Good Afternoon),  I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine and are feeling recharged as we head into our last week of Term 2.  We have had a busy term with a variety of events and activities. It felt fitting that last week we practiced Christian Meditation. It was led by Sister Rachel and Sister Ema from the Sisters of Compassion in Wellington.  During these sessions, children were asked to sit in  S ilence and  S tillness with a  S traight back and  S ay the word Maranatha to themselves, meaning 'Come Lord Jesus'. If you hear your child talking about the 4  S  words, this is what they are referring to.  Christian Meditation is something we are going to continue to practice as a school. Weekly Notices - Term 1 Week 11

  Welcome to Week 11 April 12th - 16th Bonjour Parents and Caregivers We are about to commence the last week of Term 1, which will be followed by the beginning of two week's school holidays. It has been a busy term with lots of important learning and everyone is feeling ready for a break to recharge the batteries. Thank you for all the support and encouragement you have given your children, and the school, over the course of Term 1. Swimming is finished until Term 4 and children will not be required to wear a hat next term when outside.  On Sunday we had many of our students being confirmed and making their First Holy Communion. This is a very exciting time for them, please keep them in your prayers.
