Week 5, Term 1 Notices

We hope you have had a great weekend! whether you've been getting out on an adventure with the family, taking time to relax, or are rushed off your feet, brace yourself for another busy week ahead!


Last week, the students had a fantastic time swimming with Henk, enjoying learning more about their Chromebooks, getting their green ticks on Maths Whizz, and becoming more familiar with classroom routines. It was awesome to see our Year 6 Leaders recognised during the Commissioning Ceremony, which I’m sure was inspiring to our Year 3’s. This week: - Swimming every day. Thank you for ensuring your children have their togs, towels, and goggles. - Library is on Monday - School Gala has been postponed due to us being back in Level 2 lockdown. Thank you for the generous contributions you have made towards it so far. We will know the postponement date during the week.
Friendly Reminders: - Chromebooks need to come to school charged. As we are a BYOD school, many of our learning activities now require devices. Headphones are essential please. - Each child needs a school hat. They can be purchased from the uniform shop for $13. .

Week 10, Term 2 - Weekly notices

   Te Ahiahi Pai (Good Afternoon),  I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine and are feeling recharged as we head into our last week of Term 2.  We have had a busy term with a variety of events and activities. It felt fitting that last week we practiced Christian Meditation. It was led by Sister Rachel and Sister Ema from the Sisters of Compassion in Wellington.  During these sessions, children were asked to sit in  S ilence and  S tillness with a  S traight back and  S ay the word Maranatha to themselves, meaning 'Come Lord Jesus'. If you hear your child talking about the 4  S  words, this is what they are referring to.  Christian Meditation is something we are going to continue to practice as a school. It provides an opportunity to take a break and be still, in an otherwise very busy environment!  Things on this week: Wednesday   - Kapa Haka.                       - Principal's luncheon                      - Room 17 Library- please remember to bring your books to swap

Weekly Notices - Term 1 Week 11

  Welcome to Week 11 April 12th - 16th Bonjour Parents and Caregivers We are about to commence the last week of Term 1, which will be followed by the beginning of two week's school holidays. It has been a busy term with lots of important learning and everyone is feeling ready for a break to recharge the batteries. Thank you for all the support and encouragement you have given your children, and the school, over the course of Term 1. Swimming is finished until Term 4 and children will not be required to wear a hat next term when outside.  On Sunday we had many of our students being confirmed and making their First Holy Communion. This is a very exciting time for them, please keep them in your prayers. Coming up this week: - No Swimming this week.  - Cricket on Monday. - Chess Club on Wednesday and Thursday lunchtimes.  - Library and ICT Club on Thursday. - No assembly this week - Interschool Swimming Sports - Senior School Art Exhibition - Friday.
